Trez's wages I think kill us.
That's bullshit. Tiago's wages kills us. A player who doesn't do crap and doesn't want to leave kills wages. Players that do what they're supposed to do don't. It's no secret Trez has felt mistreated by our previous management and has wanted out but just when a deal brews up they ask him to stay. His wages apparently don't bother them then.

Why the fuck are we not getting a striker who will give us close to 10 years of service then? Why Di Natale?

I thought we were going to stick it out for another season so next season we can push for Dzeko.

Because we don't have money I guess. It's 5mln, not 15
David is asking to leave then?

For a season Di Natale should be okay, actually he will be good, but only if a Dzeko type of forward is joining next summer. Not Borriello, not Adebayor, not Acquafresca, not Pazzini.

He didn't even get his standing ovation in the last game IIRC!
Another reason to say fuck Zaccheroni. The raging idiot shouldn't have been allowed to take a sniff at coaching this club.

They say 2-3 years. Not sure...one thing is sure though, it's not one year.

His wages killed us? That's just bullshit. Total fucking bullshit. It's like we're talking of Cremonese here.

Trezeguet leaving and replacing him by the 32 year old Di Natale doesn't make sense at all.

Every season he was supposed to leave and now when he was supposed to stay he leaves :(

I'm going to miss him so much  I have been watching him scoring for us since 2000 and now I have no idea who can replace him. None of our current strikers can score nearly as much goals as him, Di Natale may be able to If he can replicate his form last year but i doubt it.

Goodbye Trezegol :touched:

Ok. I want to know whether we have to replace him or whether he is being told to leave.

And no, I take that back about Di Natale. We'd have to use him as a striker for most effect (never looked as impressive as a winger) and from what pre season has shown, he'd need to compete in the air as well with all the crosses (part of the reason Amauri looks better), something Trezeguet is extremely good at getting on the end of. We'd have to play different football to what we do currently.

We all saw that in the 442 we are playing, where some parts of build-up relies on both strikers, Trez just doesn't fit in and getting the hottest striker in Serie A instead of him is just sick deal. In Udinese everyone have really small wages (I think Tonio is making 1.4m per season or smth like that), so we might end up paying 4-5 millions in total for his wages, which pretty much makes up for the transfer fee, since we were paying 9 millions for Trez wages.
Relying on big strikers to score on set-pieces is fine and all, but with di Natale we might be capable to play some football in attack after some years.
