The only negative against Trez is that he picks up a lot of money for someone who ends up playing so few games a season, but I always feel secure having him in the squad and available as he always scores goals.

Ya, you can't make deals like this if other clubs are willing to pay them full salaries

This would also make our club a less attractive option to new players who we want to sign.

I hope he won't be but I get the feeling that with his recent string of injuries over the past few seasons, his time here may be up come summertime.
Trezeguet is only missing matches because he has an ankle injury. This is his only injury since his surgery last year, we might think he's been out a lot because Ranieri ignored him and so did Ferrara for the first month or two.

It doesn't really matter what type of injuries he incurs, it's the effects and their toll on him and the club. He is into his 30's and has experienced injury bugs which have caused him to miss significant playing time. The same goes for Camo. Both are vital for us when on the field of play but both miss too many games due to injuries.

I don't think tactics play too large of a role into his appearances.

Upmost respect for Trez but he isnt the future. The club should ask him to leave and i think his contract is comingup soon anyway...would be a smart move to replace him now.

Same goes for camo.

I'm not even getting annoyed anymore when people write him off, he always proves them wrong. Trez is the type of striker which can last us for another 3 years at least(just look at Inzaghi). Sure, he's bound for a pay reduction sooner or later but let's not disrespect the man with ideas of a "pay as you play" contract. Please..

Oh no I wasn't being serious with a pay as you play contract, just joking about how much money we'd spare up from those injured. Trez would probably earn more from bonuses with the amount he scores anyway :p

I really hope to see him play against Bologna.

He's the most lethal striker we have and probably will ever have, yet people still claim that the age factor would stop him from what he does best and that is scoring. And that's wrong.
He should sign at least a two year contract worth of about 2 million per each season, and for the haters, just look at Zebina's and Poupou's contracts with their 3 and 4 million per season respectively.
