We seem to have a new objective for the LB spot,Danijel Pranjic, who would cost around 6/7 m €.

I don't know who they quoted but it says:"Ok,the price is right"("Ok, il prezzo è giusto")

Personally,I never heard of him before the Euros but he seemed pretty good and was one of the best leftbacks IMO.

Pranic is very offensive midfielder actually. That's the role he's played in for eerenveen for years. Bilic only transformed him as a leftback for Croatia. So Pranjic' amount of games as a leftback are very limited, you can count them on one hand..

I was really impressed with him during the Euro,he was great both Defensively and especially attacking and crossing balls,so if we can't get Grosso, let's get Pranjic, who is cheaper and younger.

Pranjic could be a good solution for our LB problems. He isn't playing fullback for long, but he's geting really good at it. And yes, we are talking about just a few games in the NT, but he has potential.

True but he's been really consistant in that position.

He's a very good player and even as a convert would eat Molinaro alive at LB.

pranjic would be a very smart move IMO, not just based on the euro's but his attacking attributes mean he'll be able to greatly help neddy out on the wings when he easily tires.

And wingers dont defend, right??
Anyways, our current LB doesnt defend either...
IF you think on Molinaro than you're wrong, Molinaro is pratty solid at defense, but sucks when he needs to go forward.

However I'm not sure about Pranjic cuz all I saw from him was at EURO's and he did good job. Maybe someone from Belgium knows more sbout him.

Name me one player Molinaro marked!!
Molinaro never marks, he just escorts them to our CBs, so they can stop them, he just runs with them like a small puppy.
Defending means stopping them, or prevent them to cross,
but with Molinaro our left wing is always exposed to enemy attacks.
He really sux going forward, his offensive efforts are epically laughable, but that doesnt make him a good defender.
I agree that, he is not as bad at the defense, as he is offensively, but he is still crap defensively too.
Remember Zambro, or even Chiellini, that was defending!!
By the time the enemy wingers were closing in our box, the were no longer a threat, because our wing backs made this so hard to reach there.

I never said Molinaro is a great defender etc. but still he did solid job for us in defense, the real problem is that when he win the ball and start running towards opposition half, and that's why most of the fans wants him out of Juve. I agree that in some games he runs after opposition players but still he somehow alway managed to win the ball. I'm not saying he is great, actually sometimes it's really frustrating to see him struggling with the ball, but his pace and work rate made him solid at the defense.
