If you have attackers who love to defend and defenders who love to attack then why not attempt to mould the team into a fluid machine? As I pointed out it's already a part of the job description for both full backs and wide midfielders and attackers to defend and attack. Even B2B midfielders do it as an inherent part of their game.

By the way I'm well aware of why not and I love watching Juve being a solid unit with well-defined player roles like we have now. Interested in hearing your serious thoughts on it as an idea, though.
Well the thing is that our CBs are still a lot better at defending than attacking, and Madzukic & Cavani are still a lot better at attacking than defending :D

Full support for strikers presseing and working back and vice versa, but a full on rotation total football scheme wouldn't work that well I'd reckon.

Exciting !! Already plays like a mature CB tbh.Really woke up big time after that Inter game.

Chiellini's injury came as a blessing in disguise.

Hope we dont get Benatia to limit his opportunities even more.More injury prone players is the last thing we need.

What kind of player is he? Which of our CBs is he the closest to stylewise?
Hmmm, a bit difficult to tell. Definitely not the ball-playing type, I mean he's very solid in posession and I've never seen him make any real mistake, but he's not capable to play any long-balls Bonucci-style. In terms of defending he's more of a Barzagli/Rugani type than Chiellini, though there are instances where he goes full King Kong on an attacker out of nowhere :D

That's all from watching Austria matches where Hinteregger plays more aggressively usually and Dragovic in a more reserved role, could be that he plays diffeently for Kiev.

He's not starter quality really for us now, but he's solid and hardly ever brain farts, plus could develop into at least borderline starting quality over the years. For the 15-20 million he's rumoured it's a good buy in today's market, we'd be settled for years when it comes to CB rotation.

We have been linked to him for the past 3 seasons from what I remember so either we really are following him or this is just some recycled rumor that keeps floating around. I see hes just 25 which is another plus. Not sure what he would cost though

Dragovic is solid defender, he definitely closer to Barza from all of our defenders, not that elegant and handsome obviously. His partner in Dynamo defense Khacheridi is a poor man's Chiello – force without brains, a little better than Chiello on the ball, a little worse in everything else, very decent defender also. When Dynamo need to man-mark someone – it's Khacheridi's job, he is fast for such a big guy, strong and good in the air. Dragovich is more about tactical awareness, anticipation, positioning.
