Even in the goal, i think it was kind of difficult to intercept it since it all hapened so fat and the pieces slotted in place for Milan to score.

But apart from that incident he was flawless.

We have Bonucci. Bonucci and Rugani to be a perfectly complementary pair of centre backs. Agree that we need more grit though. Hopefully when Lichtsteiner goes :)cry:) his replacement will be a total bastard as well.
We'll need to find a Chiello, Montero or a defensive mandzo :tuttosport:

in two years as of now, Max will start aging Mandzu as CB :xfinger:

Chiello-Mandzu - the flying elbows :touched:
I've said it before and I'll say it again - we have the makings of a Total Football squad. Mandzukic, Chiellini and Bonucci already love to roam around. Of course our full backs and wing backs already do that. Add in Cavani and you can just tell everybody else to go with it.

DOn't think that this is what Cruyff had in mind though

It's a great idea

Basically the anti-total football in terms of player profile :D
If you have attackers who love to defend and defenders who love to attack then why not attempt to mould the team into a fluid machine? As I pointed out it's already a part of the job description for both full backs and wide midfielders and attackers to defend and attack. Even B2B midfielders do it as an inherent part of their game.

By the way I'm well aware of why not and I love watching Juve being a solid unit with well-defined player roles like we have now. Interested in hearing your serious thoughts on it as an idea, though.
