This is all conjecture at this point. We will have to wait and see until Sunday.
Although I'd have liked to see Rugani play Wednesday, I'll be watching as things develop. Allegri surely must have had his reasons to start Caceres over him.

Caceres is the more senior player. He has never really put a foot wrong when called upon. His off field behaviour is obviously another matter. Rugani has looked a little shaky in the few chances he has gotten.
I think Barzagli's injury kind of forces Caceres' inclusion as well, because we will need to keep him past the January window. If Caceres thinks he still has seniority over Rugani it removes the chance of him looking to play elsewhere.
