Rugani: 'No Juventus hurry’
by Football Italia

Empoli defender Daniele Rugani says there’s 'no rush’ to feature for Juventus, as the club will decide when he’s ready.
It has already been confirmed that the centre-back will move to Turin at the end of the season, having previously been co-owned by the Old Lady and the Tuscan side.
It is not clear whether he will be involved in the first team squad next term, or loaned out for experience, but the player himself is not concerned.
“I’m ready to get involved,” Rugani said when asked about Juventus at an event to remember Niccolo Galli.
“If they think I’m ready to play, then so be it, if not there’s no rush.

“I want to be at the right level as soon as possible, but whether that will be now or will take another year, they’ll decide.
“This year in Serie A has helped me so much.”

From what i hear about his character i think his answers are normal, he more like cold blooded guy and dont talk much.

he is very good and he know it, and if juve not seeing enough in him he will work more harder that i see him saying.

He doesn't want to be a bench player and joining us he will need to be up the picking order with a guaranteed amount of playing time.

The boy is only 20 years old. I think we should consider him if we plan to sell Ogbonna, but not if he's coming just to replace Marrone..

He won't ogbonna is garbage n has no hope unless he pulls a bonbon and completely transforms. Barza and chiello aren't too young and considering injuries etc hell have lots of play time. BonBon is the only staple in our defense

We'll see. Marotta wants to rejuvenate the team, and Ogbonna is our youngest centre back, he should really consider new players for the fullbacks first. IMO Rugani is good enough already, but he's only 20, and playing in defense for Juve you need to be ready mentally. Let's be absolutely sure he is just that and wait another year.
Ogbonna was beast at Torino just like Rugani is at Empoli..

Ogbonna wasn't as good for Torino as Rugani is for Empoli.

If you want to warn us from overrating Rugani, the example of Bonucci is better, who was a beast at Bari, but took a couple of mediocre seasons here to develop into the beast he is today.

as for ogbonna...actually i can see him staying here as back up.

wallzagli (beasting or not) is not getting younger.

i mean ogbonna is already here and the only way we could sell him
is with a big loss i guess.

i wouldnt mind him if he doesnt complain sitting
on the bench. for serie-a games he’s good enough as back up.

Rugani is likely coming back though, we need to make room for him. and Ogbonna has proved this season that he is crap. he is not good enough and selling him for around 10M would be a great deal. even if we dont bring back Rugani, signing some CB for free (Ranocchia for example) while selling Ogbonna would still be better than keeping him

i think Bonucci was 23 when we signed him i remember At Bari Bonucci played in a back 4 with Rannochia in the middle with him. They had one of the most solid defenses that season and it was Bari.

if we sell ogbonna and rugani stays in Empoli i doubt we get any CB for next season
