Caldara, Benatia and maybe Barzagli to.
Benatia was prefered over Rugani last year. Cant see why it would chance this year. Allegri prefered Barzagli in a lot of the UCL matches. Maybe that will change this but it remains to be seen.
Caldara is a better defender than Rugani IMO so I think he will be prefered in front of Rugani this year.

In best case he is 3 choice, probably 4 choice after Caldara and before Barzagli, and worst case 5 choice.

I still dont get why Sarri is chasing Rugani, but there must be some reason. Chelsea have elite youngsters like Christensen & Zouma, and good vets in Luiz, Rudiger & Cahill.

I like Rugani, but he is no Koulibaly. 50 mil for him imo would be a robbery.

He probably wants players he already worked with (Jorginho, Rugani and Higuain) since he's a bit late into preseason.

Wat? Koulibaly is 27. Rugani is 23. Koulibaly was nothing special 3-4 years ago. Made massive strides the last 2 years.

Good comparison bro.

So what if Koulibaly is 4 years older? There is a huge difference in quality between them both, at least in my opinion.

CFC almost had a deal with ADL last year about Koulibaly at 65mil. Who would you buy?
