I kid you not; whenever someone puts the words "poor" and "defender" in the same sentence, I always think of Bonera. He's absolute rubbish!

I expect those guys would want to play some games, that is the only real problem.
TBH we were really lucky with injuries for 2 years now. Chiellini (he did, some), Bonucci and Barzagli didn't miss many matches at all and we'd really be in a trouble if we pick up some bigger injury. We need at least one more quality defender since we're playing with three behind. Getting Bonera is nonsense however you look at it.

In my opinion, Caceres and Marrone is good enough quality when one is talking about backup players. I can't for the life of me see why one would play Bonera ahead of any of those two.

If Marrone and Caceres could be persuaded to stay on as backup options, I believe we're set in this area.

Marrone will be loaned out or sold half...we need another back up.

Agree, but I don't see Bonera as a legitimate backup defender choice at all. I would be worried if he was. He has to be 5th or 6th deep at best.

I think we're gonna sell Marrone (Parma, Napoli and Fiorentina are interested at them oment) or use him to get some player.

If you sell Marrone for Bonera then something is very wrong in Calcio. Eventhough he isn't a CB, fuuuucckk Bonera.

Juventus Mercato - We can hear about our interest in Higuains and Zlatans of this world every single day for 3 months and they will never come. Then out of the blue there's one rumour about Bonera and the very next day he's in Vinovo doing his medical...

There is atleast dozen better free fringe backup options we can get.
Anybody's dad, uncle, grandfather, friend, friend of a friend, neighbour, boss who used to play as a defender at one point, would do just fine compared to this dunce.

More like summin is wrong with the ppl(the ds mainly) running this club.
Also, but I wonder why someone would like to sign Bonera. Sure, he isn't that bad as a CB and has loads of experience. But why invest in a youth acadamy if you don't even trust Marrone, someone from the own acadamy, as a 5th choice CB?
