You can't tell me this guy hasn't been very good in the CL for quite some time now? Tonight he was possessed. The reasons for that are obvious, but I didn't think he had the legs to do that anymore. That chasing in the 92nd minute or whatever was ridiculous.

Even made Neymar cry. What else could a person want?

I'm starting to understand his transfer. It is actually a smart move to bring in players from big clubs even when they are over 30s. This is because they are used to training against their club's top players and it is possible that we meet their ex-employer in UCL.

Alves is a good example. He prolly knows Neymar inside out

I think a lot of fans pay too much attention to age. Some players have to be bought for the present, and Khedira, Higuain and Alves are perfect examples of that.

I hated/still hate his weird social media persona and his diving, card waving antics. Also his chest tattoo :shifty: But there was no doubt, even at his age, that he was an incredible buy. A champion player and the fact that he's still hungry for more earns him a lot of respect in my book.

No idea why people were questioning the signing of one of the all time great RBs in the first place. I remember reading similar things when we signed Pirlo. Class is forever, he has been absolutely immense for us in the CL, his experience and know-how in these games is phenomenal.

At the start of the game Neymar looked like he could beat D.Alves tonight, especially after dribbling past him, but after that one mistake Dani completely owned him and made Neymar cry, bravo
