Why_ When you are considered for a job, the company always asks - Why should we hire you? - In every Interview its the same. And who the f. is Gasperini so we dont ask him ?

STOP begging people and If Comolli does it like that without begging I LOVE IT
Asking an experienced coach with a clear resume who is coaching for 100 years why should we hire you is moronic, this is some Michaels Scott shit if it's true. He's not some random guy with no or little experience, Gasperini has gray hair and is 70 years old.

No its not. Gasp has mostly achieved success coaching small teams and even flopped at his very first big club coaching stint. He's not a household name.

Coaching JJ for a guy like him would've been the biggest achievement of his career. If he got offended that Comolli asked him that question, then bullet dodged I'd say. It also shows that he never had any real intent of taking up the JJ job so happy it didn't work out.

@s4tch in our structure is the CEO just this guys mouthpiece to the board
i honestly have no clue what scanavino or ferrero are doing at juventus. no idea, really. scanavino supposedly left gedi to be able to fully concentrate on juventus, so probably the ownership felt that he was not 100% committed - but he's been working (well!) for gedi for so long and he's got so little experience in sports that i don't see the point of this move

Real. If I was Gasp, successfully coaching for years now and this mess of a club comes asking "Why should we hire you?" I'd put down the phone as well.

That said, it's fine, I didn't want him anyway.

Eh. Doesn’t that question come up in every interview? Things like, “what can do you add to the team”, “why should we hire you over other candidates”, etc. are very common. Just because we initiated the call doesn’t mean we shouldn’t go through the diligence to make sure he is a good fit. And if he took offense to that question it might just mean he might not be the best fit for an environment like JJ’s after all.
