    Tak!

I think before we buy someone this club need to find common ground about our identity

I hate when someone tell our identity is grinta
The best Juventus not only just grinta, because at the end of the day skill & vision, professionalism and grinta will beat grinta all the time

I agree, identity is multidimensional. You are not just one thing, and you are different in different circumstances etcetera. I miss the days when lo stilo Juve was important too, integrity, even when others were crying over refs etcetera. Or when we were buying up and comers, Zidane, Trez, Nedved, ADP, Conte, and so on, that have been part of our strategy in the past. Until we figured we could pay over the top for declining players because we thought we could do another Pirlo-Barzagli-thing. But instead of getting them cheaply we pay way above their worth. In recent years we have also figured out we could be even more stupid. We can sell the promising players, cheaply, and sign high-risk-high-reward-players for crazy money and then watch them flop as expected.

I've completely lost trust in the clubs ability. Comolli selling off Mbangula and potentially Savona showcases that nothing has changed. A year from now will be another rebuild but with worse conditions since we might not make it to CL next year. I would rather then have players like Savona and Mbangula on the bench who is way cheaper on the bench than whatever flops we will sign that will cost us more. I was hoping for our former head of NG to take over the role, the bloke that found all these players we are selling every year. Instead we signed Comolli that in my gut feels like something that talks the talk but cannot walk the walk. His CV does not encourage me to think otherwise either. I really wish I am wrong but with the management as it is I don't think identity matters. Stupid people will do stupid things anyway.

I don't think we should buy anybody until we have a competent manager and management at this club. We have nothing right now.

He might not be the only one to blame for some of this questionable transfers so far, but he certainly green lighted all of them and played a part.

Anyway, as i previously stated in a different post, time is still on his side to make amends and build a strong squad by the end of August, although atm signs aren’t too encouraging.

He has 2 gigantic road blocks working against him. If he can move on Vlahovic and Douglas Luiz, it will become a whole lot easier...

Time is not on his side, pre season started yesterday, by the end of August player's prices go up with the end of the transfer window looming by then and other clubs may not be able to find replacements or will know we are desperate anyways.

He joined Juventus less than two months ago.

Mercatto opened on July 1st and today is July 25th.

Mercatto ends on August 31st.

Despite pre season starting you can’t realistically expect Comolli in such a short timeframe to have it all sorted out and ready by the time preseason started, this club is a mess and requires a lot of parts to move in order to make other moves ourselves, so bias aside i’d say he still has at the very least a couple of weeks left to sort things out and make us competitive before the actual season starts, although truth is as i mentioned before that it’s not looking too encouraging atm.

Well... he better get a move on then
