But we were supposed to be happy with and understanding of Tudor and the club in general completely giving up the ghost against Man City by fielding a ridiculous lineup and getting smashed infront of the world.

This City team is good, but we made them look so much better because of our provincial stupidity. Al Hilal have taken the game seriously, put in an effort and have been smart to hit City on the counter by targeting the weakest area of the team (their defence). Courage and smart game plan is all it takes and any half decent team can get a good result with a bit of luck as well.
Watch us do the exact opposite tomorrow against Real. Lack of courage and too much respect for the opponent will kill us right away. Not taking it seriously does the same.

Mercenaries or not, Al Hilal believed in themselves and went toe to toe with City, hitting them hard on the counter. Inzaghi actually prepped them with a proper plan too. Plus, Al Hilal's defense is miles ahead of ours. Can someone remind me why we never went for Koulibaly when he was there for the taking? Same with SMS, he still has the technique and tactical sense our midfield desperately lacks.

Hopefully Comoli and the management are actually paying attention and learning from this. But as always, we supporters wish for the obvious, which somehow is never obvious to the people running this club.

I feel for Pep.

The €500 million spent on players over the past 6 months haven't had enough time to get acclimated to the team, and therefore, they were at a major disadvantage in this tournament.

Plus, I'm sure his players were tired and the weather was too hot for his players, whereas the Saudi clubs are used to playing in the heat.

So City were major underdogs going into this game.

As much as i want to laugh at City getting KO’d by AlHalal i am still a bit reserved about it because of remembering the trashing we ourselves witnessed last week, even if got to admit it’s always nice to see Pep and his billions of investments in players still not functioning properly for well over a year now…

Man... Sucks to be Man City, no respect from the saudis ... If only Al Hilal knew they stand no chance against glorious Man City team @Robee
Another pin on the 'it's only preseason' hat. And yes, they're (both) better than us.

Now let's go and chase this magical never to be repeated glory with all our might!

Dazn paid FIFA $1bn to broadcast the CWC games and Saudi Arabia paid the same amount to own 10% of Dazn.
So what you're saying is Al-hilal bribed their way to the quarters?

Koulibally and co must feel stupid trying so hard to play.

Wait wait wait. I thought Man City was unbeatable team for a scum like us. What happened?
Do you really suggest that Al Hilal is better team than Juventus?
Yeah, pretty much. Any defence with Lodi, Koulibaly and Cancelo will be better than Savona, Kelly, Kostic.

And they are pretty much unbeatable for us, when they care. People still denying that, delusional. We (and Serie A as a whole) are so much worse off than many people think.

Please, continue. This is gold :D
So far we've established, that Al Hilal are better team than Juve. Are they better team than Man City?

They didn't realise they had to be shitless scared so they went and won it i guess
Yeeees, where was Robee to tell them that they have no chance? Someone has to take the accountability for this mess for sure
