Please, continue. This is gold :D
So far we've established, that Al Hilal are better team than Juve. Are they better team than Man City?
Nah, not that. Better than this version with our defensive crisis? Yeah, probably. There ain't many teams that won't beat us with that...

So again; what's the difference between the game against City or Real? Since you're so eager on proving something, might try and answer a question from time to time instead of twisting things.

Or might as well answer the question why would any sub be happy to give up vacation for not playing anyway, even when qualified. You're missing the big picture here and are clutching at 1-2 lines here.

Is Al Hilal better team than Man City or not?
of course they aren't. lyon wasn't a better team when they defeated city in the 2020 cl. it still happened

btw based on data published in a quite good book, ~half of the football games doesn't end with the victory of the favorite team. football is the least predictable team sport if you compare it to pro baseball, basketball, hockey and all the other big murican franchises. so yes, this is normal, favorites often fail to win in football

One oil club defeated another oil club.
Isn't that the plan?

Basically this tournament exists because this is how it went down...

1. FIFA official pre-2020: The FIFA Confederations Cup pits the best national teams of each continental federation in a tournament to choose a global winner. It is the dressed-rehearsal for the nation hosting next year's World Cup.

2. FIFA official in 2021: Oh crap, Covid.

3. FIFA doorman in 2022: Hey, some Arab outside says he wants to give us $1 billion to change it to the Club World Cup and we invite in all the Emirati teams.

4: FIFA official: You had me at Arab.

Now now, i was told by Mr. Big Picture, that we had no chance against Man City on the account of being garbage, so might as well not even try. The stats/book you are quoting must be lies.

city were the clear favorites. he's right.

favorites often fail to win in football. you're right.

now move on, both of you are beating a dead horse for the sake of it.

Oil dominates talent and loyalty, yet Arab teams have still not gained a major achievement at the national level.

As much as i want to laugh at City getting KO’d by AlHalal i am still a bit reserved about it because of remembering the trashing we ourselves witnessed last week, even if got to admit it’s always nice to see Pep and his billions of investments in players still not functioning properly for well over a year now…
Yeah, but I know we suck. I accept it.

Embrace watching other clubs feel the pain we do on a regular basis. Schadenfreude is a great thing as a sports fan.

Well no shit. That's not an excuse to not even try, as illustrated by the mighty Al Hilal. Cmon :D
a team could have done more when they lost 5-2, well no shit buddy

:boh:

btw i saw a tweet the other day saying that for our most embarrassing recent losses, like haifa, chelsea, napoli or this one, when we also conceded a lot, locatelli was always on the pitch and played fucking bad. that looks like a pattern

How can you speak to our REGISTA CAPITANO FANTASISTA like that.. He is our captain and he is good defensively. He cried from happines after vining vs Venezzia in the last game and we secured the CHL.

That's a great observation. This is exactly the kind of insight your data should uncover. If Comoli's approach is just pure stats with no strategic or creative analysis, then we're fucked.

Locatelli being on the pitch isn’t a problem in of itself. Locatelli being the best Juve midfielder on the pitch is a massive problem.
