This is the closest it will get to CL here. And I know a lot of Hispanics that would spend that and more to attend those games had they been properly advertised. Also having seattle as a venue as opposed to hispanic dense areas is really dumb. I know lame ass sounders are playing but still dumb.

Bro they should seriously host this in Australia in 4 years time.

Winter time, huge immigrant populations (Hispanics, Arabs, Asians, Southern/Eastsrn Europeans), great sporting culture (we’d sell out a stadium to watch ants racing ffs) and plenty of beautiful cities for tourists.

80 dollars vs some team nobody knows about in what is practically a glorified pre season tournament, it's not value for money to me.
I remember paying over $120 AUD to watch Juventus vs Melbourne Victory play a friendly match in 2016. It was at the MCG - 100k capacity stadium not suited for football at all and the actual attendance was ~ 20,000. I said to myself never again after that.

And this was the line-up:

what a team lol

had to check what happened to a few players

severin is still only 28, plays for servette (swiss top division) as a starter cb
parodi (27) plays for foggia in serie c, also starter cb
carlos blanco (cb, 29) is back in spain, 3rd division

i guess that's the expected career path for most of our primavera players :boh:

Exactly. All that money to watch a friendly with reserves at a purpose built cricket stadium... yeah I feel your pain.
