Which platforms and wallets do you use? @lgorTudor @Fr3sh

Also best place for news and updates?
Looks like the boys got you covered! Also make sure to NOT store you key phrases on your phone or computer, have it on paper and store it in a safe place. I personally use metamask+nano ledger x, and got a kraken, binance and kucoin account for the centralized stuff.

Also for centralized stuff, keep your tokens stored in there at your own risk. Sometimes, a token would give it's holders an airdrop (free tokens) and the centralized exchange where you store your tokens may accept the airdrop and you can get what you'd be eligible for, but they also reserve the right not too.

Here's a concrete example, I bought XRP, had it stored in my kraken wallet (centralized), XRP decided to airdrop it's holders some free flare tokens. Some centralized exchanges where cool with it, others where being dicks and pocketed your money. I was lucky in this case. Not too long ago, XRP/FLARE decided to do an airdrop for an airdrop, and this time Kraken didn't give it out, so I missed out on free money. Had I had it in my personal wallet they'd I would've gotten it.

I use Ledger Nano S and Trezor Model One hardware wallets.
Use their native interfaces Ledger Live and Trezor Suite to handle various coins. Connect to Metamask interface (metamask.io) to interact with Ethereum based smart contracts directly through Web 3.0 if needed.

For big CEX (centralized exchanges) Kraken, Binance and Coinbase Pro are solid.

Ethereum based DEX (decentralized exchanges) Uniswap if you want to gamble on unknown shitcoins.

best and worst place for news:
best because: unfiltered and uncensored
worst because: 97% of toasts are retarded
best because: the other 3% will be worth it
my favorite part of biz, is the hilarious degeneracy lmfao

@Quetzalcoatl Also if you take the Ledger Nano model X you can use it with your phone through Bluetooth. Imo its worth the additional bucks

As far as news is concerned I use Crypto News app, its BTC and ETH centric which is where my main interest lies, if i venture in other coins I use discord server of that coin
I'm about to buy the Ledger Nano X. But what happens if it stops working, do you lose all the coin on it? :shifty:

And by the way I've heard its not a good idea to buy on amazon. Buy directly from Ledger and use a fake email/new throw away email for shipping. Thats because Ledger although their hardware product are top notch in itself, they did have some email leaks which means you could be a phishing target. I've been gifted mine so I didn't experience this issue

And NEVER input your seed phrase in any electronical device or from anything that pretends to be official and asks you for it.

I know I am stupid for not taking easy money, but I just can't with NFTs. I don't see the value ... at least yet. A lot has to change for that.

NFTs still smell like someone trying to profit from fake real estate.
