Looks like a typical dishonest politician virtue signalling move, he will swap it to cash immediately. Should have committed to vesting those three salaries for 5 years if he meant to make an actual statement. Also BTC maxis are ghey, like that mentally ill guy Pomp he replied to. A proper sect. @Dru Satoshi himself wrote in 2010 that he wanted different chains for different purposes to exist.

Yeah, he's not the most well liked. Had it not been for the George Floyd fallout, he 100% would've lost in my opinion. I assume the city will end up developing their own coin as well at some point too, for whatever use that could have.

I bought one little piece of bitcoin back then but I didn't have faith and sold shortly after and ignored crypto since. But looking at the way the world is heading, there is now no choice.

I use Ledger Nano S and Trezor Model One hardware wallets.
Use their native interfaces Ledger Live and Trezor Suite to handle various coins. Connect to Metamask interface (metamask.io) to interact with Ethereum based smart contracts directly through Web 3.0 if needed.

For big CEX (centralized exchanges) Kraken, Binance and Coinbase Pro are solid.

Ethereum based DEX (decentralized exchanges) Uniswap if you want to gamble on unknown shitcoins.

@Quetzalcoatl Also if you take the Ledger Nano model X you can use it with your phone through Bluetooth. Imo its worth the additional bucks

As far as news is concerned I use Crypto News app, its BTC and ETH centric which is where my main interest lies, if i venture in other coins I use discord server of that coin
