United was second placed by the end of last season, 12 points from City, and now that he joined they self-destructed 
Personally I think it was very obvious that United is a circus right now and should be avoided at all costs, don't know what he was thinking there if he was at all. I think we're better off in the long term with him leaving sooner as it frees up insane wages to rebuild though.
But what I meant was, if we "wasted" him by getting him to score more goals and win trophies, then what would you call what United are doing to him?

We had probably the hungriest Ronaldo I've ever seen and did not supply him with a proper midfield support to win the CL.
I get that we have a mental block in the CL, but Ronaldo with the right squad would've been enough to overcome that deficit in mentality.
He went from Modric, Casemiro and Kroos to having the likes of Emre Can and Matuidi holding down the midfield.
Atleast one class ball playing midfielder should've been added to the team. Pjanic was the only midfielder capable of providing any sort of creativity going forward.

United are shit and are definitely dragging him down.
In terms of personal accolades he did perfectly fine here.
However, we should've utilized his ability and drive better by supplying him with an appropriate midfield capable of winning the XL.

2019 was THE chance. No great Madrid and our team was still relatively great. I think we should have kept Buffon though.

That Ajax tie, if Chiellini played instead of Rugani and if he had some others, I think we win. And you are in semifinal with Ronaldo absolutely on fire with 3 beatable teams. I think it was our best shot, but injuries ruined it
