I would say that we were in the poower position there because Locatelli wanted to move here. With CR7 we are in the weak position. Not once I saw us use the contract as a means of power.
We don’t know whether management is using the contract as the basis for any deal. However we have to give them the benefit of the doubt that they operate diffeeently than our previous incompetent management team. These guys are businessmen. Tici was a scout and Nedved is a player with no business in a boardroom. Chiellini with his MBA is more qualified for front office position than Nedved.

who knows, Mendes sometimes acts like he is the one who runs Wolverhampton.
If he does run that place why would he give up a good player in exchange for a cripple in high salary? That’s too good to be true.

Nevas has a contract until 2024. No way.

he get his fee whenever player moves and probably will get a massive fee for Ronaldo transfer, while Wolves will remain mid table team, even after this transfer.

I read such bullshit like us giving up Ronaldo for free to fecking City who wanted to pay 160m for Harry Kane!!!!
If I were Juve either give us Gabriel Jesus/Bernardo Silva or feck off.
WTF some people really belive we'll give up Ronaldo and in the mean time lose 30m just to not pay his salary?!?!
YEAHHHH lose a very important player + 30m to save up 60m from his salary!

So we'd literally lose Ronaldo for a +30m on books with little to no time to replace him with anyone and prolly spending much more than what we'd save.

At this point either we keep Ronaldo for one last year and show some balls for once....
Or we trade it for a player.
Either Icardi or Gabriel Jesus or Bernardo Silva.
I mean we don't need Bernardo but he is such a good player.... while Gabriel Jesus is 24years old...
