Going to City destroys his time at United, fans would never forgive him. He excelled at Madrid but United made him, he wouldn't be that stupid would he?
He is a fotball player not Einstein. They want to win, get rich and be successful. No moral codex needed tbh.

He was more attached to Ferguson than that shit club anyways.

Hope he goes to City and scores all the last minute headers he can against Jogba, that little dwarf manager OGS and Trashford aka Greta Thunberg.

Would be a beautiful watch.

lol, we want him to go. Who is to say we will replace him with anyone and just not want to save costs?
Agree. I doubt CR7 told Max to start him on the bench. Yes maybe no replacement immediately and even if Juve gives him away, so much money saved. Addition by subtraction.

Offside or not the egomaniac GOAT showed his greatness by not moping around with Max benching him. Maybe that set him off to demand to his agent, get me out of there? Possibly feels Max will fuck with him all season long.

Maybe City were sure that they will get Kane and Psg was sure that Mbappe extends, so there was never a chance for Ronaldo before the end of deadline to actually move. Now it seems that City won’t get Kane, so they need a proper goalscorer. They ain’t going for a new season with Jesus, with all the money spent and with all the ambitions they have for UCL. Then with PSG, it’s inevitable that Mbappe leaves then either now, next year or year after - it just will happen. If they can’t fix that in Paris, im sure Ronaldo would be more willing to go PSG than City. But City must be damn appealing for now, since they’re one striker short on paper and it’s guaranteed success.

I don't really believe he wants to go to PSG. Why would he? He wants to compete against and beat Messi, not play alongside him. Perhaps if he had more Balon D'ors than Messi, only then would he be willing to team up with him.
Exactly, I don’t believe PSG can be an option. Can you imagine Ronaldo setting Messi up for a winning goal in a CL final that secures Messi another ballon d’or?

that ain’t happening in any dimension

If he leaves, lets say transfer fee 25M. We will have 82M for transfer and wage for new player (25M transfer fee + 57M Ronaldo gross wage).
If we get jesus instead, there stil 57M for maybe for tchouameni. Mckenie swap with ndombele.
Interesting, but I don't know if we have the funds or the time to make all that go down. Chimichanga needed 17 meetings and 4 weeks just to wrap up Locatelli who already wanted to join us.

Time is running out, I doubt that we’re able to make that happen. I’d sell Ronaldo if that means getting Bernardo Silva and a decent CM, but at this point I guess it’s to late.

If we’re wishful thinking here with the amount we could save off Ronaldo’s wages I’d even go for Bernardo Silva, rescuing Kean and a second LB.

As for another CM I think that would be whoever we can swap McKennie with.
