Even when he can have a bad day and some misses, or to get few service...he is simply head and shoulders our best player. We are talking about a champions league legend anyways.

We should find a way to work our ass off for this guy to do what he does best. We should not be overdependant on him to do all on his own.

His half season serie A stats of 19 goals+assists (14+5) are the best result a Juve player has achieved post-calciopoli at this point of the season. Assists weren't counted before calciopoli, so I don't know how far do we need to go back for a better result. With his penalty goal today, he passed Tevez's record from 2014/15 of 18 goals+assists (13+5) at half season in serie A.

Meaningless stat, though, because, as frustrating as it is, our season does start in late February and not much matters until that point.
