Sure Ronaldo is looked up to but he is not good captain material imo.

A captain should be a more level headed which, even though he has matured, Ronaldo is not. Ronaldo is too emotional, too insecure

Agree.

He leads by example, and he is someone you know you can rely on on the pitch to win games.

But he is too hot blooded for a perfect captain, even if he can do it well with Portugal.

Are you serious? You seriously feel that modric performed better than CR7 and Messi over the last season?

A team of 11 Ronaldo will win a team of 11 Messi, and then go on to win a team of 11 modric immediately the next day without rest.

That is how good CR7 is as an athlete and footballer. He is on same level as Kobe Bryant. Unplayable, freak of nature athlete.
He is not like Kobe. He is like MJ.

And Modric have not played, and will not play in his entire carer a season at the level CR7 and Messi played the last one.

But they have done it so many times that people take them for granted and forget that what they are seeing is just impossible.

If you are a football megacrack, a once in a generation kind of player, you can hope to have between 1-3 years at your peak that can approach what they have been showing us for more than a decade.

Modric is a legend of a player, and a midfielder for history, but he never reached that level.

Please... he is not a legend of a player. Nobody will talk about him after he retires. Probably talked on the same breadth as Riquelme etc.

Legends are people who have contributed to football greatly and brought something special to world audience. Ronaldinho, fat Ronaldo, CR7, Beckham, Messi etc. these are legends. People outside of football knows who they are. Not Modric.

I disagree. Modric is definatley a Legend. You arent a top 3 player on a team that has accomplished what Madrid has without being a legend.

This guy is gonna rock tonight. Ronaldo x2 and Mandzukic and a Costa cameo at the end. 4-0. Man Utd backlash.

It sounds like that and people go with it. CR explained it's just 'siiiii':

If I had to choose the importance I would put Modric over everyone besides Ronaldo and Ramos but there are4-5 below those two that are pretty baller. Anyway its not really the point. Hes a legend no doubt
Maybe, but Modric was not even close to being the most important player for Real in the CL.
Ronaldo, Marcelo, Navas, Ramos and Bale were more decisive than him.
