is it looking bad for Ronaldo?
What I've gone through so far:
Police Report
-Mayorga is upset, won't say where it happened, and won't say who. It was a public figure.
-Doesn't want to give a lot of info, just wants to be taken to hospital
-Eventually provides info on location (hotel near flamingo & 1-15)
A questionaire is attached
We've seen it before - lying on bed, she said no and stop
Settlement
-$375k is total sum
-Conditions include - payment in 7 calendar days, confidentiality - non disclosure of alleged events, allowed to disclose to healthcare provider, without identifying Mr. D
-She won't be held liable for disclosure by 3rd party, as long as she gives a no-response answer when asked, and advises of people who know
-Agree to not disparage eachother
-Drop any charges, but recognizes do not have control over police action
-Disputes go to mediator
-Breach of agreement got to mediation, penalty is repayment of funds, and payment of damages to Mr. D
-If either test positive for STD, must let other know
-Letter written by Ms. P must be read by Mr. D and this must be certified
-Ms. P must destroy all evidence from alleged events (yikes)
Signatures include Mayorga, her attorney, Ronaldo (with Sig of full name), his two lawyers.

After reading about this case more and more over the past few days I don't think anything will come out from it.

Ronaldo and Juventus will be fine in the mid to long term, just have to wait for this to go away while dealing with the current backlash.

This is from the new complaint. Does this really sound like something a detective would say? This is 2009, not 1934. And even if it did happen, does it sound like a bright idea to put it in the new complaint, when you expect the same police department to help you?

the question is if the LVPD say that Ms. Mayorga refused to name ronaldo as the abuser, how can the detective say that if he doesn't know who he is?
or i am missing something?
did they met(the detective and ms mayorga) again after the incident or after the parties signed the settlement?

Ronaldo should sue her for sexual harassment. Grabbing his ass while his back was turned. :seven:

While she may not be lying about the sexual assault, that is yet to be adjudicated, she certainly lied about their interactions in the club prior to the alleged rape.

This would be the type of question Mayorga will be tricked into answering.

I assume the detective said that this is what the anonymous celebrity would do.

I know, but sounds like you'd want to sue the police, it's that bad.

Apparently her nurse for checkup warned her about the same thing.

Der Spiegel's headline is correctly quoted by that twitter account as well, It does say "the evidence, evidently, disappeared"
And that is a sign of malice.

Because it isn't evident at all. In fact the much more likely explanation is that there never was any evidence.

It's the sort of sentence that makes it obvious der spiegel aren't just reporting this story, they're picking sides to try and sell more magazines.

Isn't that obvious though? The reporter has articles/series of tweets about "where do we go from here with the allegations against Ronaldo."

As though Der Spiegel is prosecuting this case itself. Which they seem to think they can do in the court of social media.
