Yeah I noticed that too. Also, he said a couple of times "It is my understanding ..." and "I have not yet spoken to ..." and he explicitly admitted to not having ever seen the documents which the LVMPD obtained at the time (2009). Explaining to the media that the reason is that the police classify their documents internally and don't release them to the public. There's one point in the press conference where he also encourages the journalists: "Maybe you should go over there and pressure them to release those documents" (or maybe he said "go over there and ask them), I'm not quoting him correctly word for word here, but it was indeed what he said).
