"The file accuses Ronaldo and those working for him of battery, infliction of emotional distress, coercion and fraud, abuse of a vulnerable person, racketeering and civil conspiracy, defamation, abuse of process, breach of contract, and negligence for allowing details of the confidential settlement to leak out."

wow

anyway, having an alleged rapist in our squad doesn't look good at all. i usually look at both best and worst case scenarios, and my guess is that juve will lose face either way. it's a fucking pr catastrophe, the last thing we needed. i hope it's settled asap.

...And fucking why does these allegations have to pop up right after he leaves Madrid ?...
i just told my brother that i wouldn't be surprised if perez was behind that. life at juve is becoming some pain in the ass for cr: no individual awards, ridiculous red in the cl, 10-year-old case popping up. what's next? some madrid hookers with dick pics?

My theory : I think Perez might have blocked Der Spiegel from publishing this story while he was there as it would have defamed not only Ronaldo's image but Madrid's too.
Der Spiegel might have felt that this was the time that Ronaldo was most 'vulnerable' as he doesn't have Real Madrid's protection anymore and decided to go with the story. Sorry but I refuse to believe the alleged rape 'victim' came up with the allegations out of nowhere. This is all cleverly choreographed and we could be paying the price for it. What a shame. Juventus apparently can't escape negative publicity it seems....

This just smells like dirty politics to me.

We’re sounding like the others in Serie A.
Whether Italy or abroad, it's always Juventus that cops up the negative publicity. We just can't escape it.

Try writing something remotely insane against Madrid , that said journalist's career would probably be over.

Why is a 10 year old story surfacing NOW ? How can this be just a mere coincidence? Analyse and think for yourselves.

Who reported all this to begin with? Was it football leaks? Didn’t they start in like 2016? Either way, it’s so typical. Should the shit hit the fan. Real must take some of the blame. Why should we lose out? Any legal advisors in the house here???

No. I’m not making it up. That actually happened.
I’m not saying that you’re making it up. I believe you. It’s a case of swings and roundabouts in the world of football. As annoying as it all is. This is why it fills me with joy seeing these big clubs in Europe suffer. At the moment we gotta ride this shitstorm.

But in this case, the Juve Staff should had done research about this case. A Club in this dimension should be able to get a guy who report the past from a transfer target. This rape case come up in 2017 and they should already knew that. If the Club did the Job well, they would have let the fingers from CR7.
Maybe Marotta warned Agnelli and Friday was the day wenn the story about the women comes clearly out. Wasn't it the day when Marotta broke up with Agnelli?
Sorry for my bad english

Yeah, I've been thinking this too. Could be a case of really poor 'due diligence' by the club; or that they simply took the risk regardless and thought everything would be fine. Wouldn't be surprised if Marotta warned against it and that it ended up being what caused the rift between him and AA. But who knows.

And if Ronnie prove his innocence, he and the club must sue the fuck out of De Speigiel. That's mass defamation and assault on his character and image of Juventus.

This story is on all major American publications. And UK as well. Every major news outlet has caught up on this.

Even if they started it in 2016 , you'd have to ask yourselves why the story dint explode then and there? Did they magically find the conclusive evidence as soon as he left Madrid? How do you people not find this fishy is beyond me.

Either way, damage to CR's image has already been done even if he gets out of it.

Imagine talking about commercializing and being more appealing worldwide and the next thing you realize your prized acquisition is a rapist :sergio:
