This signing is like Lakers sign LBJ.
The difference is we need to also pay 112 transfer and bonus fee.

But how come media keep mentioning we pay Ronaldo 30m salary? I don't see it in official statement. It would be very huge cost for us. Hope we don't get any FFP problem like Milan and Inter

As a Lakers fan for 40 years, I can tell you, good sir/madam, that it isn't even close.

Lebron signing with the Lakers shook the basketball world.

CR7 signing with us shook the world.

For people complaining/ worried about the 350 million euros we will stump out for Ronaldo.
1) Higuain will cost us 160 million over 4 years. Surely Ronaldo is worth 2 Higuains
2) Not every player is acquired for plusvalenza. Players like Cerri, Mandragora, Kean etc serve that purpose.

Here's how I would recoup some of the money we will spend on this acquisition:
Sell the following
1) Higuain for 50 mil
2) Rugani for 40 mil
3) Sturaro for 10-15 mil
4) Kean for 15-20 mil (with buyback clause)
5) Pjaca for 20-25 mil (with buyback clause)
This adds up to 135-150 million in transfer fees and about 25 mil in gross wages. Over four years that's 235-250 million euros, not to mention the added sponsorship and exposure we get from Ronaldo. So we will lose 100 million net over 4 years and won't weaken the squad in other areas. Beppe and Agnelli are far more financially savvy than I am, and surely they have other things up their sleeve.

Cristiano Ronaldo's social media effect on Juve's official accounts:

- 900,000 more followers on Instagram.
- 100,000 more followers on Twitter.
- 400,000 more likes on Facebook.

and still growing.

For how much he would cost, yes.
Finally somebody mirrors my thoughts

It's unsustainable for a club like us and he's hardly a marketing machine like CR.

Are we seriously complaining about the cost of SIGNING RONALDO ?
@Seven @Osman please sum help here
We are. And what's even better, we're pretending to know something about Juve's finances. We know fuck all. Apparently Juve thought it was possible to buy Ronaldo. I'm glad.

I guess it wasn't condecending when Ronaldinho, R9, Beckham and later their own Kaka all joined Susy's beloved Milan to just relax and chillout long after being officially washed up.

I dont care what his motivations are.. CR was playing for himself at MU and RM too... and fucked shit up in the process!

This move will be a success from a financial standpoint even if Ronaldo do not deliver on the pitch.

We moved from a great football team to a great name in football.

A damn shame we can't correlate our history, legacy and tradition with Ronaldo. Dude's work ethic scream Juventus, but hey generic brand of bland created by a 1st business/marketing student will be our fiancial savior :howler: :jj:

Please change the damn logo back, thanks.

Ever since we changed our logo I've seen it a lot more. Leave it as is.
