The only thing that worries me is his age
Why? he is not a normal human being, his professionalism and training puts his footballing age to about 27/28 not 33

HAH, Cristiano Ronaldo.. funny. No seriously though, that Russian kid from WC looks promising, McGolovin or whatever his name is.

No. Ronaldo is 33. There is nothing you change about age.

You can however remain more athletic at a more advanced age. But when he turns 37-38, it is inevitable that his body will start to fail. That is, up til now, the unfortunate condition all living beings find themselves in.

We have seen boxers like bernard hopkins fight u till he is near 50. Its amazing what the body can do now with the right dedication. If ronaldo can perform at even 60/70% of his ability in the next few years we still have an amazing WC player in our team.

Ronaldo will be world class for at least another two seasons. But that doesn't change much looking at his age. Most football players start declining after 28. Hell, most athletes in most sports start to lose athletic ability after 25. We buy Ronaldo for the two seasons he gives us and for the publicity he generates. But make no mistake. By 37 he'll be done. Everyone is unfortunately.

Honestly I don't think we could ask for any more than this.

Didn't Toni become capocannoniere at 36 or smth? I feel Ronaldo will win it in all 4 years here.

At 36 I think it's still possible. But 37-38 really is the breaking point for even the most long lived football players out there. At 38 Totti was still a good player. But the season after that he was pretty much done.

Scoring 50+ goals every season also seamed impossible before CR (and Messi) emerged. Be optimistic ;)

This is going to sound harsh, but I honestly believe we get 1 shot at the CL with Ronaldo next season. And if we could just get a few more reinforcements, I think everyone will be looking at us as favourites too.

We’ve seen Hopkins get beat up and mumble when he talks. The issue with soccer players is that once they get over 30, injuries are very hard to get over. Look at Kobe as an example, was putting up 40 points per game in his last season until he got hurt and then called it quits. One injury is all it takes at that age.

33 for Cristiano is like 28-29 for others. The man is a once in a lifetime super-athlete.
100% agree. CR7 was always in a fight with Messi till 2-3 years ago, right now there's not even an argument about it: CR7 is currently the best player without any doubt

This guy is a monster. Is like LBJ? u may don't like them but if u watch any sport u can deny they r super athlete

To think that like 1,5 month ago I was thinking that Higuain replacement has to be someone who can score with his head like crazy, but at the same time be a great with the ball at his feet. The only one I could thought of was Real with CR7...
