Cristiano Ronaldo had already let the club know that he would not stay with Sarri in charge. Ronaldo is furious, but I think he'll stay. [Momblano]

The GOAT has spoken.

Yea you dont pay Ronaldo all this money and then not ask for he's opinion on managers and how he feels, it was clear he had enough of Sarris loser mentality and comments.

I actually think he made Ronaldo worse is some areas i think he's heading ability went to shit this year probably because Sarri does nothing but piggy in the middle in training and then two touch match match every day.
He also almost completely removed the creative, assisting side of Ronaldo’s game. Averages over 10 assists per year for the last decade, under Sarri that drops to 5.

for me about assist is personal decision of players on the field
When the players see it is better to shot then he shoot

I think the story/promise about 40 goals really get into CR7 minds and he try to fulfill it, and he always choose to shoot this season rather than passing

Has Ronaldo brought us the CL? He may be the best player in the world but he is also 35 old, selfish guy who plays mostly for himself. Our long term decisions should not be motivated by his opinions.
We are not playing better with him in our squad. Many players make sacrifices just to appease this primadonna. He does not defend and our attacks are hostage to his movements and mood. He shoots much more often than anyone else and basically wastes 20 freekicks per year.
I am sick of what this guy thinks about Juve. We pay you bitch, you are not above the club. You are not a manager or director.

wat? Given that he had 10+ assists almost every single year prior in his career, why the heck would that change of a sudden?

His extra goals this season were almost exclusively penalties.

He scored 35 goals between league and CL this year, including 13 penalties.

He scored 27 goals last season between league and CL, including 6 penalties.

The new ridiculous handball penalty rules gave him an extra 7 goals this year, otherwise this season his goalscoring is identical to last year (played 200 more minutes, scored 1 more non-penalty goal) and he has half the assists.

And given the lack of team success, no small wonder he’s absolutely pissed at Sarri.

Imagine interpreting wrongly everything I said just because you wanted to. I do not blame Ronaldo but we should not build our future around whimsical primadonna's selfish interests. The facts are that we have neglected half the squad just to create a cozy bubble for him and he is getting waaaaaaay too much power in our club.
This guy will be making stupid rom-coms in two to three years and will give 0 fucks about Juve.

Look, the perspective here is even without CR7 we still can win Serie A
His contribution will be spread amongst our attacking department

For his investment, we must at least go as far as possible in UCL. Even if we do not win it, we still get the money that we can use to pay for his services
I think in our managements mind when we get him, we will get at least semifinal for every season he is here
Let's see what he brings next season, we have more younger and dynamic in midfield with Bentancur, Arthur, Rabiot

We wouldn't have won it this season without Dybala or Ronaldo.

Anyone that believes Sarri improved CR7 in any regard is flat out wrong

Instead he had a 35yr old player over exerting himself to literally carry a squad in disarray playing a rigid system that does not complement the qualities and abilities of the players

The GOAT proved that even if you put him under a shit coach with a rigid tactical philosophy without the recognition to adjust, etc. that he will still be the best player on the team and do everything he can to ensure the team doesn't fail

But then again, Tici and Nedved didn't need to fire a proven winner to hire a career loser to prove any of that
