I see people slagging him off for losing the ball, not making the right decisions and for missing chances for forget that he’s been doing these things for a long time. What we bought him for was his winning mentality and those one or two moments of magic he produces every game. I see him scoring at least 38-40 goals this season if we go far in the CL.

Showing signs of declining, still fast but need more interval in his run to take some breather.

Ronaldo in his peak has ability to run more, chasing through ball. I still prefer if we can recoup as much as what we invest in him and let him go for Man Utd if they are interested

If we can get something around 50 to 60 millions we can use that money to get Tonali or Chiesa and build for future

Wow...
if you remember last year he also looked off the pace for the first 10 games but then hit his stride.

He’s not going to be improving at 34 but to talk about him declining isn’t accurate. His game is changing and has been for the last 3 years but he’s still the best in the world.

Pretty sure you will completely change your views once the UCL ko’s start and the business end of the season gets underway..

That’s when we will definitely need CR7 to step up, not against the Spal or Brescia’s out there, and frankly, odds are he most likely will continue to do just that, when it really matters.

The Ronaldo we're seeing nowdays is more of a team player than ever. He doesn't have the team around to actually support him like he had in Madrid, he needs to do things he shouldn't do and that makes him look shaky/exhausted at the times. He can't just focus on saving his energy for mattering moments like he used to, he needs to be part of the build up, he is giving crosses when he should be receiving them etc and that again, is always away from the recovering for the next game and when he's 34, i think one game a week is what we can get out of him. He played 5 games in 2 weeks(including NT), 3 games in 8 days before this game and it's too much. When the big games start, he gonna just save his energy on those games and it's whole different story and that's what age does to you but no one should say he's declining, because his best is better than anybody elses and we all know it and when the time comes, he's once again leading the forces - just like so many times before.

Really? He doesn't have to defend at all when playing LW, can you name me just one LW have that favour? Most team defend with 10 players, LW don't defend creats complicate in tactic, why Matuidi become important part of our team despite having bad first touch and technical? Because he can run like two players to cover for Ronaldo. It will be easier if Ronaldo can play FW, but no, he doesn't excel in that position. Our team works for him, and in exchange we needs him to make different in attack, not those excuses like he doesn't get support, bla bla... In last game he had enough half chances but just didn't convert, there's no excuse.

Actually i went ahead and watched a video of all his touches or something like that against SPAL yesterday, it was 10mins long but watched about 4mins of that i had seen enough. You can go ahead and watch it as well, literally 95% of the touches were middle of pitch, sidelines, corner flag etc and one attempt on goal and it wasn't even a scoring chance, so what we are actually expecting him to do? Like you said, being the difference maker in the attack yes, but we ain't really giving much support in there or otherwise he wouldn't being doing all that stuff, because when he was younger he didn't really do that either. He can do it, he can offer some extra passing options in the middle and support and give time to our wingbacks to get up on the field and be part of the attacks and then by himself, get into the box to make the runs but apparently, we can't see him in there so he doesn't receive even 1 ball for every 10 touches he does anywhere else on the pitch and even if he did, it wouldn't be an empty netter or a quality cross, it would be a chip in and it's down to Ronaldo to fight and scratch himself free and somehow try to get a leg free and attempt a one-touch finish middle of 3 players. Guy has something like 125 headers scored and we can't get quality cross on him but every 5 games, but it's probably his fault again.

He has his freedoms and it's based on who he is, what he has done and what he is able to do and that's about it.

Here I remember 4 half chances he had:

- Dybala's pass:

- 2 Pjanic's pass:

- Cuadrado's cross:

Convert 2 out of those 4 half chances and he could made a hattrick, do you think that's not enough?

Since when does a keeper making a great save to keep a goal out become a terrible miss? the only one in that list i could say he should of done better with was pjanics pass as he hit it straight at him The other two he hit them low and into the corner and keeper finger tipped them away. He also set up two great chances yesterday for others that should have been scored he has had far worse games than that.

Pls don't twist my word. I don't blame him in those miss, neither doubt him. Actually I'm sure he will hit form and score a lot this season. But to say he doesn't get enough support in last game is just wrong.

When people say he doesnt get enough support there talking about in general and not just the last game. We had already had a good few matches this year where Ronaldo hasnt even had a half chance during a match and thats against bad teams aswell. With ramsey and dybala in the side there players that can actually make a final pass into him and link up well with. When costa returns this should be the team that plays.
