How is that he won MVP if Quag was the best forward, and they're both forwards?
Marketing.

And Ronaldo has been good. 29 goals + assists under Allegri's defensive system. He had 31 goals + assist with Real last season, a team much more attacking minded.

To put things in perspective, Del Piero never scored more than 21 in a season even at his peak. And Totti only managed to do that once in his career, otherwise never even reaching 20 goals.

Ronaldo does 21 + 8 assists at 34 years old in his first season in Italy and under a defensive team who couldn't even get the ball in the opposition's area in many matches..

Not good, great, considering everything.

I suppose you could argue he wasnt a true FW this season and i suppose they did so they could award two popular players.

Awards shows are always

She was pissed about something. Didn't look happy at all.
She frequently looks unhappy during the games. I think its just her appearance

The whole thing was based on Opta stats. For strikers they only looked at goals, while for MVP they looked at other stats as well.
For goalkeeper they selected Handanovic since he had the most clean sheets, even though Sirigu was probably the best performer this season.

And for Milinkovic-Savic they chose him since he had the most letters in his name.
