People don’t like Scamacca but surround him with better players and he will shine. He’s like a young Mandzukic. His value isn’t necessarily goals. He’s a beast in the press and has a tireless engine.
Not convinced with him at all yet.

There is potential and he could come good but equally I could see him never realise his potential. It seems too early for him to do a big move, he was terrible against us in Turin despite getting a goal from a set piece if I remember correctly. I think he still needs to have a breakout season or at least a stronger season before we should consider him.

we were so happy when we signed him. :D
To be fair, I don’t think we really thought our experienced midfield players would decline so hard in just a single season. We had our highest point total, highest goals scored, domestic double, and if not for the last second penalty against Madrid may very well have played another CL final that season. It was a brilliant season. But it was more like the last huzzah for the old guard, and we should have seen the decline coming with aging and all that jazz. Sadly Tootsie and his gang failed to deal with that. And we ended up with a burnt out, injury plagued, quite old squad by the latter half of 18-19.

We have overlooked the need of a great mid since Vidal-Pirlo-Pogba days. Nice that we got Locatelli but it’s just not enough.
Oh for sure, but it’s a start… and if we move on from Ronaldo we either need another CF for when Morty and Paulo go missing, or a LW star to make CF goals not as important.

would like a midfielder too, but beggars can’t be choosers. :(

"Ronaldo has informed people close to him that he will never play with the jersey of Juventus”. (Romeo Agresti).

Good riddance. I was very supportive of him staying but after the way he's conducted himself in such an unprofessional manner I won't shed much of a tear when he leaves. No player is bigger than the club. Go fuck off with the rest of your fanboys. Cant wait for the tantrums and drama with Pep to start. Not to mention how he'll upset half his fanbase by betraying Man U in this way. An utterly stupid decision on his part, I really expected better.

With that said, I still think this could have all been avoided had the management maximised the 3 years we had with him by strengthening the team properly. A totally wasted opportunity. We bought a ferrari but we never took it on the highway...
