We thought the same about Higgy.

Mauro is also a lazy, slow one-dimensional poacher who turns 29 this year. I don’t see him aging well.
Higuain's physical condition I would say was unusual. Even the day we signed him he looked hugely overweight and seems like something he struggles with.

Icardi is a completely different body type.

Although the main factor on longevity of a career is attitude and doing the right things off the pitch. Look at Naingollan. That is a concern with Icardi. Does he have a reputation of partying/drinking?

Oh, I learned to love Higuain for those two years. He gave his all to the team and turned into a far more well-rounded striker.

Agree 100% on Icardi.
Higuain was way superior to Icardi.

Higuain might have been fragile mentally but he offered much more than just goals. And he wasn't just standing around jerking it off and waiting to recieve a cross. He could work for the team also.

At least that's how I remember it.

Missing a striker with a laser shot, like Higuain.

I have no idea… but what I do know is that striker’s like Icardi, extremely lazy, slow, one-dimensional poacher types don’t usually lead the line at successful teams. They guarantee a good number of goals, but the attacks of the teams they lead are usually one-dimensional and have little else to offer, so overall goal numbers drop. The rest of the team has to sacrifice to provide for their specific style.

Definitely agree
Higuain was a monster when he was at his prime. He was very efficient and had a very good team game.
He came to Juve and immediately delivered but on his second season he started to decline as he got older and fatter.

Icardi is on Higuain`s level only when it comes to finishing.
