GDS: Elkan remarks juve:
chiellini, comolli, and tognozzi at the top, Giuntoli at risk ( almost out )
The Comolli thing worries me. He's one of those guys who signs players based on statistical analysis.

On one hand he signed Luis Suarez for Liverpool, on the other he signed Andy Carroll. Tbf to him Carroll's signing was forced last minute, and he did seem like a beast. But there's this lasting impression with him that if he does something on a budget and has to identify younger players he's fine, but he'll gladly blow your budget on a mixed bag and then walk away. He's done well with Toulouse on the smaller budget but his other recent clubs seem to be left with regrets.

I'm not sure we can afford another Giuntoli where he spends 200m and about 40m of the spend is value for money.

Milan's Redbird management like to do those kind of moneyball signings based on stats

And they've been an absolute disaster for the past couple of years.

He also signed Stewart Downing and Charlie Adam. He was fairly hit or miss.

tognozzi should do the scouting, that would probably help

The theory was always Conte wouldn't like to work with Giuntoli. As Conte's clause in his contract was only valid until end this month I guess sacking this turd would've happend faster.
