The club is chaotic mostly because of Giuntoli. I'll always blame him more for sabotaging last season and for his man-management skills. I agree hindsight makes it easy to judge, and at the time most people thought he had a solid summer - aside from dragging things out, overpaying for a couple of players, and not getting a proper striker. But overall, the general consensus was that we improved the squad (which i still believe, honestly, because last season's bar was insanely low). We even thought he brought in a good coach.

That said, he's the one getting paid millions to build a complete, competive roster, not us, and in the end, his project failed. Maybe betting on young coach and cutting the squad's average age own to ~23 wasn't the smartest thing to do, and for that, he should be held accountable.

I actually think choosing the right general manager is a key to success. Owners are too detached and lack vision if we are talking about big business. The vision and direction is provided by GM.

Honestly, signings like Koopmeiners, Douglas Luiz, Nico Gonzalez, Thuram, Chico, and others were top-notch for a single summer, and most of them were really good players before joining Juve, with plenty of suitors. On the other hand, reducing wages and the average age by letting go of guys like Sandro, Szczesny, Rabiot, De Sciglio, and others was a solid move. The fact that almost all the new signings have flopped is strange, though. I think the biggest mistake Giuntoli made was bringing in Motta. Overall, I agree that Giuntoli should go, but I’m worried that changing him and bringing in another director won’t make much of a difference. It feels like something's just wrong with this club, but I can’t figure out what it is.

Starting with sării this club has encouraged a culture of mediocrity. Most of these bozos know that juve is the pinnacle of their careers so they don't care what happens next.
There is no accountability in the club. Even with Tudor . Susan has been shit for a full season now ,yet he starts 4 games in a row , instead of getting 10 20 minutes at max to prove himself .
The rot has been ingrained in our ADN, and I don't think anyone can easily fix it .
We could start with Conte and see whee that leads us . At least he would make some of these prima Donna's spit blood or get the Zigler treatment .

I was of this opinion until the winter transfer window. Kolo was a coup and a good deal - we needed an option at CF and we got a guy with 94m of talent for pennies and no obligation.

The Kelly transfer though...unforgivable. Not even in comparison to Huijsen or whatever just as a standalone what the fuck was that??

You're right. We need boring people who excel at running businesses to run the business side and we need emblematic, charismatic figures with leadership qualities to be the figurehead and lead.

For that matter we need somebody who has a fantastic tactical brain as well as excellent people skills to coach the players, and somebody who is brilliant at making deals, understands football and can work with the coach to bring the types of players required for the coach to get results on the pitch.

Etc etc.

We don't have any of these things.
