The year is 2025. The day is January 31st.

Juventus has set the record for consecutive draws in all competitions for Italian teams, eight.

In the transfer market, Juventus has signed an astonishing zero players up until deadline day, despite rumors of two center backs and a striker. Jungtoli has floated offers for Tomori, Silva, Hancko, Raspadori, Lucca, Schick, Araujo, Christensen, Kalimuendo, Hato, Skriniar, Bertola, Castro, Zirkzee, Maguire, and others, but nothing thus far. But the hope of a deadline day deal or two remains.

The latest offer of 50M for Tomori was rejected for the third time by Milan, as the player is in the plans of new manager Conceicao. Hope still remains that Jungtoli’s 10M loan + 50M obligation to Benfica will go through, even though they continue to claim they will only release him if Juventus meets his release clause. With hours dwindling, Jungtoli submits his final offer for Hancko, 40M plus Mbangula and Savona.

JJ fans are optimistic a deal can be completed while they welcome Milik back to the squad.

I honestly still think Motta holds significantly more blame than Giuntoli.

Giuntoli pissed around for ages with Koopmeiners and spent big on Tha Koop as well as Louise who have both flopped hard...but the message from loads of Tuzzers here was that although we overpaid they were both excellent signings. Meanwhile we got a great new goalie and although we didn't realise it on here we had young players good enough to start at RB and be a backup winger.

Motta has these players underperforming at record lows. Meanwhile as soon as Kean of all people breaks free he turns in the best numbers of his life. There is no curse- the only explanation for our players playing like shit for us this year is the management and style of play. Motta has repeatedly plugged away with ideas that plainly don't work and has refused to rely on what has worked. First two games Vlahovic and Yildiz partnership looked deadly but we've not seen it again.

Koopmeiners and Luiz look like huge flops but only because of how poorly they are performing, and that's on Motta.

What about the positive meetings? When do we expect these?

" For Juventus, Every trophy is an objective. We will do everything to win the Scudetto, Champions League, SuperCoppa and the Coppa Italia."

Wait, is the top 4 the wrong goal?:fab3:
We are about to compete in the SuperCoppa, only two games between us and winning a trophy, basically our best shot at silverware this season that is, therefore he changed the narrative to one that fits the occasion, trying to boost the confidence and morale around the team by now talking as if we are again a powerhouse club with big objectives in the public statements and simultaneously releasing selective ‘big bucks’ winter mercatto rumors to increase hype.

Might be a good strategy after all, not like the previous one where we kept stating that reaching top 4 is our main objective and that we are going through another transition year was any better for the mentality around the club.
