I honestly still think Motta holds significantly more blame than Giuntoli.
Giuntoli pissed around for ages with Koopmeiners and spent big on Tha Koop as well as Louise who have both flopped hard...but the message from loads of Tuzzers here was that although we overpaid they were both excellent signings. Meanwhile we got a great new goalie and although we didn't realise it on here we had young players good enough to start at RB and be a backup winger.
Motta has these players underperforming at record lows. Meanwhile as soon as Kean of all people breaks free he turns in the best numbers of his life. There is no curse- the only explanation for our players playing like shit for us this year is the management and style of play. Motta has repeatedly plugged away with ideas that plainly don't work and has refused to rely on what has worked. First two games Vlahovic and Yildiz partnership looked deadly but we've not seen it again.
Koopmeiners and Luiz look like huge flops but only because of how poorly they are performing, and that's on Motta.

Might be a good strategy after all, not like the previous one where we kept stating that reaching top 4 is our main objective and that we are going through another transition year was any better for the mentality around the club.
