Yep for me the signings were good choices. We spent WAY too much time and money bringing them in, but everybody was really happy in August.

If we fire Motta now, imo Giuntoli gets more time before the boot.

The mystery is that Luiz and Koopmeiners both showed that they can play at a really high level. It's in them and never mind not getting it out of them Motta seems to have done the opposite and now they look bland and unskilled

Hindsight is 20/20 though. I agree with you. Especially Allegri saga. Disgrace. However, after mercato finished, most members were pleased. Its a different story now. His most expensive signings have flopped so far. There is still half a season left to play so lets hope for our sake this teams finishes top 4. If dont, he should bear most of responsibility. Will he get the boot? Not from current bunch of bureaucrats. We need leaders, recognizable faces in management, former legends to take over. People that spent their careers playing here. Winners that will aim higher than top 4, that wont consider clubs like Atalanta, regardless how good they are atm, as our rivals. From winning is not important, but only thing that matters, remained only 1st part of the sentence. JJ these days.
