Wow awesome stuff. Spend €250m, sack the last coach, change “philosophy” all for us to struggle to reach 4th place again. How is this any different to any other season? In fact, we are out of the race for the Scudetto in early December, when it was at least late January last season. And we also won a Cup too…does anyone think this team who can’t score goals will win the Coppa Italia as a bare minimum again? I don’t.

Why are you ignoring the potential in the building block intentionally for the sake of it?

Not to be a dick, but let's be real with expectations around year 1 of a rebuild. If we were not going to be patient with motta on his first year, then we shouldn't have hired him in the first place.

I know you that you know it’s not that simple. Ultra competitive league this szn. Squad isn’t fully turned over. Gaps still exist in the starting XI. Depth is a joke. Time may be a luxury but it’s also the constant factor to affect change.

Moggi talked about Giuntoli's mistake in signing Douglas Luiz:
"Of course there were also mistakes, like (Cristiano) Giuntoli's in taking Douglas Luiz and Motta's who hasn't yet found a position on the field for (Teun) Koopmeiners or who against Lecce brought in the kids giving the team a sign of relaxation that cost them dearly.

"I believe that fourth place is the right objective for this Juve because at the moment there are at least three teams stronger than them
".

if depth is a joke and patience is needed, why was signing a 4th goalie no big deal?

shouldn't money be allocated to much more important positions instead of a position juventus had luxury of 3 goalies already in? especially since we are constantly told money is a problem for juve?

was 4th goalie more important or a LB or back up striker or left winger?

Every season in which we fail to compete for silverware is potentially year zero now, and after seeing so many signs of positive things to come during this first part of the Giuntoli-Motta reign i got to the conclusion that i can’t wait for this season in which we once again aim for top 4 as the main objective to be over and see what the next ones have in store for us, because it obviously looks like we are slowly but surely building a winning core for years to come.

Always wondered what fans of teams that don’t win or compete for anything major years after years tell themselves, but look no further, pretty sure it’s much of the same that you’ll be reading around this parts recently.

Because Dougie Lulz and Kicki Gonz were essential building blocks and if you can't see that you are intentionally ignoring it.
