Giuntoli:"This is a unique year, marked by numerous absences. The coach is doing an excellent job, and we’re fighting to stay near the top. We're pleased with how things are progressing, though these absences have taken a toll.We are satisfied with our position.Scudetto? Our stated and obvious goal is to finish in top four."

That loser talk.

I fucking hate how our directors, players, managers etc all talk these days. How far have our standards fallen? This shit has been normalised for far too long.
What do you want him to say though. Top 4 has been our goal for a while now and everybody knows it. It's not realistic to go and win the scudetto with this team. Imo It would look even more stupid if he said "Our goal is the Scudetto" when we all know it isn't and it can't be just yet.

I expect this from Atalanta, Napoli or Fiorentina management.

Transition years, year zeroes, “we need more time”…all this shit is an anathema for a club of Juve’s stature. And we’ve heard all of this garbage for nearly 5 years now.
Those 5 lost years don't change the reality of this season at all. On the contrary actually, it's the exact reason this team still needed an actual rebuild and had to cut out expensive dead weight... There will be bumps along the road but the plan is clear; the cost-cutting while forming a refreshing young squad is something we haven't seen at all in those years. It's a building block with potential. Anyone denying that is just ignoring it for the sake of it.

Fourth place is a financial must to continue the plan. If we miss out on that target, this season is obviously a huge failure and the plan will once again be delayed/endangered.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

We went from "Vincere non è importante, è l'unica cosa che conta."

to "Vincere non è importante."

Yo, it's Giuntoli, the man with the plan,
Took him 8 years to make Napoli the champ, understand?
Worked day and night, through the highs and the lows,
Finally got that Scudetto, man, that's how it goes!

Juventus, Juventus, yeah, we're in a mess,
But give us 8 years, we'll be the best!
Giuntoli's got the magic, just you wait and see,
In 2032, we'll be champions, believe me!

Now he's in Turin, with the Old Lady crew,
Struggles on the pitch, but we know what to do.
Building up the squad, piece by piece,
In a few more seasons, we'll be back, capisce?

Juventus, Juventus, yeah, we're in a mess,
But give us 8 years, we'll be the best!
Giuntoli's got the magic, just you wait and see,
In 2032, we'll be champions, believe me!

From Napoli's glory to Juve's new story,
Giuntoli's the man, no need to worry.
Patience is key, success takes time,
In 8 years, we'll be back on the climb!

Juventus, Juventus, yeah, we're in a mess,
But give us 8 years, we'll be the best!
Giuntoli's got the magic, just you wait and see,
In 2032, we'll be champions, believe me!

Yes this guy appears (don't know local Turin fan's reactions) less grief than Motta. Manager has dealt with many injuries #1 Bremer and Dusan though wasn't playing up to expections. Giuntoli though no matter how much Motta wanted certain players, is the one signing off on them. Luiz so far a complete bust but others have been sidelined.

Like though Giuntoli has gotten rid of a lot of older trash while incorporating younger, cheaper options beyond the first teamers. Just got to hope once team is mostly healthy Motta can get them to make the top 4.
