How are we ready? We are paper thin in many areas, have many undesirables in the squad, and we lack depth. These are facts!
Motta's teams dont have as many injuries throughout the season so there is less need to have a large squad. Fact.

However, since most players remained with addition of several more we have plenty of backups. Chiesa, Kostic, Rugani, etc.

KoShitz is trash, Raguni is a joke, and Chiesa won't be here.

Motta's squads don't suffer injuries because they play 38-40 games a season - we'll be playing close to 60 games this season.

You want fucking Gatti starting games for us? We have no depth on the wings (Weah and Yildiz really?). Our RB options are pathetic, and without Koop, our midfield is lacking a leader/general.

I disagree. We have multiple competitions to balance including the club world cup next summer, we will need depth in the squad. There's no way this small team can handle around 60 matches this season.

This is not a fact.

We didnt sign players you wanted so your opinion is we are not ready for the season start. Im of opinion we are ready. Its gonna be a great one so sit back and enjoy.
Nice trolling bro. There's no way we're ready.

The fact is club is bringing back to training players they ousted. The club is in a mess. That's not an opinion. It's a fact. We're not ready for big league in 5 days. I see no core of the first team. I see no quality subs. Those are the facts.

for those that say loan fees and small fees don't matter because they small

djalo 5m + 2.5m salary
alcaraz 3m fee
di gargoyle 20m fee + 3m salary
kalulu 3m fee + 4m salary

31m in fees + 12.5m salary is 42.5m. there is your missing calafiori money with extra to sign a winger. calafiori mx offer was 30m from juve.

but keep saying small fees don't matter

De Gregorio is a loan with obligation.

that will turn into a mandatory fee. there is no point in pretending otherwise.
But you're saying that will buy Calafiori this season, when the maths doesn't add up because MDG is costing us 4.5m loan this season.

I guess we could add up 7 other players to make Calafiori but then we'd have a squad of about 10 players, which might be a challenge for Motta.

why couldn't he loan + obligation calafiori?

he's trying to do it with every single player except koopmeiners.

btw since juve was willing to go as far as giving him 30m. it shows that recording a big financial hit was not a concern. otherwise why offer that much

I'm pretty sure we did offer that, all of our deals seems to be the same, like you say. But clubs are within their rights to reject it and look elsewhere.

These deals are really just to spread payments anyway but the selling club might need the money quicker just like we do.

I have little past experience going back years to know, but appears with 2+ weeks left in transfer period Giuntoli isn't as far along as he should be in getting roster finalized. Could be a mess as you say but definitely not looking good from my view. Unless the soccer Gods turn son into close to dad, don't see how Weah is your starting RW. :boh:

Midfield is stronger than last year. We have more depth as well in this area. Unless you wanted 10 cms, thats another story. We added 2 very good players (DL, Thuram) and lost 1 (Rabiot).

Chiesa is still here, as are other players on the list so the team is no weaker than last season. Actually as things stand for now, I see our side as considerably stronger. Ofc once the games kick in, we will know more but I dont see a reason for panic. We are ready. Lets go!

We have depth. Have you seen the size of the squad? Doesnt matter if some players didnt play friendlies. They will be called upon if required.

We're clearly not ready, we obviously missed our targets and are now looking for new ones. Let's see what happens.

Some keep saying "midfield is stronger than last year" but there is literally no proof to this at all, other than we spent a lot of money on Douglas Luiz.
exactly. Shouldn’t these people saying midfield is stronger than last year wait till season starts?

why are they judging before a single match was played?
