Hello mr. ChatGPT, there is this forum member who made a long ass post. Would you be so kind to summarize it in 2-3 sentences?

Chat gpt:
The forum member is discussing the current situation of Giuntoli, who is tasked with building a new squad within a tight budget by removing underperforming or unneeded players, which has led to criticism for devaluing these players. Despite some setbacks and challenges, he has made significant moves, including new signings and reducing costs, while still making a profit. The member supports Giuntoli's efforts and notes progress in the team's performance.
Lol I need to make an account now. This seems good.

I see the hate is somewhat running out of hand. Maybe some can consider this different view and be less stressed.

Juve financial. 2021/2022: -250M. 2022/2023: -120M. 2023/2024: -200M. 2024/2025: Having a new coach with a different idea. Need to reduce the squad's cost as much as possible. You can see we are in a bad financial position.

So here is this season's situation. Giuntoli has a very difficult mission: Build a squad compatible with new coach's idea, while reducing the costs, and making some capital gains. In short, make a revolution with a negative budget. Must sell to buy.

Then, he did something very ambitious and bold. That is, separate the unneeded players (due contract situation, ability, mentality,..) and declare that they have to find a new club. Many insult him for being stupid, that action devalues the players. And they are right, that's the negative side. But what's a positive side? The new squad has less distraction, and completely focus on getting the new idea. It's difficult for me to explain. Let's imagine this. In one group, there are hard-working ones, and there're ones who put half-ass effort while earning 2, 3 times more than the others, lol. This group will work slower and slower, and over time, the hard-working ones will become lazy. You can relate this to your work or your business.

Here's another. Motta values ambition. He wants his players to keep improving, keep pushing to become starters. Tek is a very good GK, Rugani is a very good back-up CB. But both of them have no ambition. Tek talked about retiring after this season, Rugani never has problem being a sub. Let them in the squad can spread this mentality and make things progress slower.

But the negative side is still there, the players's value, already declining after a bad season, now decline even more. Giuntoli's mission become more and more difficult. He needs to sell, and from the potential sells that can happen, explore options to buy, and many things can happen to disturb the plan, and each time he needs to plan again. You say he has a year to plan? How can you know that Arab teams suddenly back out on Tek, or McKennie rejects Aston Villa? Kostic and Mlik injured?.... The sell plan change, and the buy plan must change accordingly.

The reality is that he did fucked up some of the deals already. But he is trying to build and give the new squad best conditions to focus and progress. For that alone, I have patience and cheer for him to success. The welcome wind of change. The 1st half against Aletico Madrid showed that they're progressing very well. Do you remember that Sarri takes months and can't transmit his idea on the pitch? lol

The last thing I say is that he may not have done as badly as some of you think. Until now, he bought DiGregorio, Cabal, Douglas Luis, Thuram, Adzic, and reduced squad's cost ~10M a year, while making ~60M plusvalenza. It means he bought all of those new faces and making money (not lost) along the way.
In your opinion, why did he miss out on Calafiori and Todibo respectively? Could it be that he has set a bar for CB and once we have to pay more than that bar he just pulls out no matter what.

you can add another 16m to losses next year because of obligation to sign 4th goalie.

It took this guy 8 years to win Scudetto with Napoli.

If it takes him 6 years to win a CL with us and one Scudetto, but one of those year the club spends in Serie B (not because of FIGC but because of bad results), how would you rate that?

Please discuss.

This guy absolutely stinks. I'm not sure I've ever seen a sporting director mangle a situation as much as he has this summer (I'll give partial blame to Motta as well).

And it's not just failing to sign targets. That happens. He just has zero plan (or he had a plan, failed miserably, and can't recover from it with a decent backup plan).

This is laughably pathetic.

I keep hearing our mercato sucks because we have no budget. But what has Giuntoli done to balance the books?

We still have Pogba, Kostic, Chiesa, Rugani, Arthur, Mckennie, De Sciglio on our books.
The only thing he’s done with these players to freeze them out. Even I could’ve done that.
In terms of negotiating their exit, he’s done jack shit. The only one on his way out is Tek, and even that agreement doesn’t look good financially.

I’ll give him credit for finessing Fiorentina for Kean though. That transfer was 10/10.

Giuntoli might be worse so far. He absolutely stinks and should be getting crucified for how he's handled almost everything this summer.

At least Paratici would have a team in place going into the first week of the season. Giuntoli has banished half the team from training with the club, failed to sell them, and failed to sign replacements for them.

This is humiliating.

I didn't even think it was possible, but this team looks worse than last year's.
That’s because 10 players are frozen out of the squad, doing nothing but collecting wages and blocking incoming transfers. And it’s mostly Giuntoli’s fault.

We're 6 days away from the season starting, and not only do we not have a starting lineup, we barely even have a bench. And the players who could help (both starting and providing depth on the bench) haven't been allowed to train with the team all summer. So even if they're brought back, they're not even close to being ready.

It's hard to be this incompetent. I look at the team and it feels like we're a club in Serie C just hanging on for life to not go into bankruptcy and fold.
