I'm not defending anything yet. I'm countering your unbased criticism (like Soulé should've been sold for much more) and it shows when you have nowhere left to go but more unbased attacks.
What I'd like to read is how, for how much and to who you would've sold Soulé.
Have i said that Soule should have been sold for more? I had enough of your BS "this isn't human trafficking" argument and called you on it. You were bending over backwards trying to prove, that we must sell to Roma, because player prefers Roma.
My point- we should sell to the highest bidder. That's about it. Players will should only matter if the bids are equal. And you seem fine with the idea, with Calafiori and Todibo cases, who reportedly only wanted Juve. Again, you should make up your mind which is it. Until you do, i have no interest in discussion with a bot.
As for Soule valuation, i can perfectly see another team selling him for twice of what we sold him for. That was not a good deal. For example Palermo sold us Dybala for 42(?)mil with similar age and similar stats. And that was almost 10years ago.
Last summer Hojlund went to MU for ~73mil. Again 1 season in Serie A. Even worse stats despite being nr9.
Jeremy Doku went to MC for 60mil. With whopping 6goals+ 2asists for Rennes in Ligue1.
Brennan Johnson to Totenham for 55mil with 8goals and 3asists for Nottingham.
Bradley Barcola for 45mil to PSG from Lyon. 5goals and 8assists, despite being nr9.
Vitor Roque straight from Brazil to Barca for 50mil.
So yeah. Teams pay for potential of young attackers. I don't see how is it even a discussion.
