  • Detail: €11m transfer fee payable in three financial years, with bonuses up to 2m, contract till June 2029.
  • Note: salary €1.3m according to Schira.

Comment:
A defensive-minded player who can play LB and LCB, the parts in which we need depth. Not a high-profile signing, not cheap either. But we hijacked Merda.

I love how he's handled this mercato but I don't understand the strategy behind the wing position at all.

We have not bought one winger and it's almost August, we've signed a coach that plays wingers, we come from a squad that didn't deploy wingers and on top of that we're actively selling our best in the position.

Based on this, not only do we have to sign a starting winger but we also have to sign depth for the position. Sounds like a complete mess.

Chiesa won't re-sign. Soulé is being sold for profit on the books. That's all there is to it. It's easy to make technical choices when disregarding all financial implications.

If Chiesa has a change of heart that makes things easier for us but I think his agent is a bit of a cunt as well and will always look to move his clients on. I think Chiesa needs to swallow a bit of pride as well, he might consider himself the leader of the team based on ability, but his performances aren't even close to backing up a super wage. For me, he's still a player trying to find his best level after injury. He might feel insulted by our offer but he's not living in the real world. He probably thought all kinds of big teams would come in for him, but so far that hasn't happened. This needs either a reality check, if not a climb-down.

Iling and Barrenechea for Luiz
Huijsen for Todibo
Soule for Koopmeiners

It’s a clear sign that even if we expect that the 4 youth players become better than their replacement, Guintoli is constructing a team that is immediately ready. And rightfully so

Todibo and Koop are a clear upgrade quality wise over Soule and Huijsen. Anyone saying otherwise is a retard.

The hope is, one day, we can sign the Todibo’s and Koopmeiners etc, without having to sacrifice our best young talents. But years of financial mismanagement (Paratici/Agnelli/Bebebini years) have forced us into situations like this. Learn to accept it, cause this is our reality for the foreseeable future.

so this genius is selling players for under market value because he is desperate for cash to buy koop

but he went ahead and spent a big chunk of money on a goal keeper when the team already has 2 and he hasn't sold one of them yet

yeah tell me again how juve needs to sell players to make plusvalenza guys.

Sad Lion, no one took this lazy bait trolling in summer wishlist thread, so you figure you will try here instead?
it's not trolling. i am tired of being told club needs to sell for plusvalenza, but then carelessly spends big money on a goalie when 3 already there in squad.

ffs take your head out your ass and stop being such a cuck
