you guys don't think future signings are appraised of club affairs?

c'mon of course he knew who is club targetting
did you read his posts

calling him a piece of shit repeatedly after barely one week at the club is not even dumb as fuck but maybe a tiny bit premature, even for tuz standards

Yes and no.

Yes in the sense that it seemed nobody was able to play football last year. There's only so much that can be explained away by bad form or even bad morale in the team. Several players were sort of given a pass because of recent injuries but honestly as I said before nobody besides Danilo (perhaps Kostic) was good all the way through the season. They failed as a team but also as individuals. No question.

But also we know from earlier years that Chiesa is a monster of a player. We know from earlier years that Di María is a monster of a player. We know from earlier years that Vlahovic is a monster of a player. The fact that all three played nearly exclusively like shit, and that none of the three is comfortable in the 'system' we saw last season lays the majority of the blame on Allegri imo.

Why on earth would you try to fit square pegs in round holes all fucking season without tweaking the formula? Play to maximise the stellar talents of your key players, not play in a way that looks like a deliberate attempt to minimise them.

I'm gonna pull a Vlad here and suggest that if we'd had a coach that thought that way around we'd have seen all three play much much better football. And that's where you get your morale, which breeds good form.

He scored 10 goals in Serie A last season for Inter. Is our setup twice as good? :D
We are looking only last years numbers?
Its not about better or worse setup in general. But how a certain player will fit. We like our strikers to hold up the play, use physicality, play as a targetman and Lukaku is excellent at that.

Anyhow like I said, not a fan of Lukaku but I can see him as a better fit for Allegri's requirements than Dusan.

He has been here for 2 Thursdays, litterally 2 Thursdays as of yet.

And has not been behind a single official transaction or deal since he joined us.

Last Thursday.
You are surprised?

Not at all. Thats what United and Chelsea thought he could do again and again and failed miserably. He is very dependent on a strong midfield passing the ball into empty spaces for him to run into at speed and smash the ball.

Ibra was the dream Allegriball player. Lukaku is the furthest from that. Might as well start Keane
