Who do you think was worse, Paratici or Giuntoli?
Giuntoli had some good moves, he lowered the overall wage bill, offloaded high earners like Tek and Sandro, and brought the average age of the squad down. He also made some big-name signings, even if most of them flopped. At the time, they were considered solid buys.
But of course, his flaws are well-known. I think his biggest gamble was on Motta, and he lost. Maybe if he had brought in Conte last year instead, things would look very different right now.

Paratici, on the other hand, barely made any smart moves in my opinion. He flooded the team with high wage players on long term contracts, and most of his signings didn’t deliver. He even let go of Romero in a situation similar to Huijsen’s. Personally, I think Paratici was worse.

Giuntoli was bad but Paratici was the worst. Can’t forgive the signings of Bentancur(for Tevez), Rabiot, and Ramsey. Absolutely shite.

I dont like changing sporting directors quickly, but became a necessity, and Kelly was the final bullet. Giuntolis got potential, but he's also semi demented, and we can't risk that, so bye bye.

It’s better than accumulating poor players and disabling the coach and squad with trash players. I am all for the fail fast approach. Otherwise incompetence accrues as quickly as the bad deals and contracts handed out. Let alone the talent shipped off for pennies that the squad would’ve benefited from

His biggest 3 signings, Koop, Luiz and Nico, at least up till now, are all massive flops.

Kelly and Huijsen deals, though not directly related to each other, are a fiasco, a monumental joke in modern football history.

Plus zero people management skill.

And to top all that, don't forget he brought in Motta.

Now I kinda figure out why he is always wearing those glasses, because he is blind.

Bringing in Motta was the beginning of the end for him. Staked his entire reputation on him (and a few expensive signings) and it backfired massively.

We all had high hopes (well most of us) and it turned out bad. Better to cut our losses and get rid asap.

Adios Merda.

He got too far ahead of himself when decided to rule the club on his own. Maybe if he decided to work with Max, Manna etc instead of bringing in his puppets Pompillo and Stefanelli things would go better for everyone.

in hindsight this should have been the end for giuntoli. he compromised that season heavily.

It obviously should have been. And you'd think most people would have already understood that at the time. But you'd be wrong. I still remember all the brainiacs defending Giuntoli back then, simply because of them disliking hating Allegri. Idiots.

So yeah, it should have happened in June 24 instead of June 25, but it's still the best Juve related news in quite some time.
