He made his life so difficult by trying to revolutionize everything at once. Could have been fine with Perin #1, keeping Kean, keeping Mckennie (thankfully he declined). Keeping Cambiaso at LB and buying a RB instead of Cabal.

Nico seems like a waste. Would he ever be picked ahead of Chico anyways?

Luiz lol.

lol, if he did that, the same people would criticize him for not doing enough.

This winter, but more importantly summer mercato should tell us a lot about the working relationship between Giuntoli and Motta.

He has absolutely nowhere to hide.
i think that they have already worked together on the summer signings

juve coaches rarely have a say in the mercato but this summer looked like it was co-directed by motta. luiz, koopmeiners and the bunch of wingers were all signed for 4-2-3-1. if we go after lucumi that would be an other confirmation

The point is, it’s a loser club with a loser mentality. Obviously expectations at Juve are higher. We need to seriously challenge for the scudetto next year and have to win it the year after. That should be the goal.
That would mean 1 scudetto during a 4 year period of him being in charge, right?
I'd say that's not too much to ask.

Well in hindsight yes, but I think at the time everyone was unanimous in the opinion that he had to leave. 0 goals 0 assists in 20 appearances. You can't really hold that against Giuntoli when logically speaking it was the right thing to do.

Everyone got mad at him when he sold Chiesa but look how that turned out. Unfortunately it's just hit and miss as to whether these players go on to succeed/flop at their next clubs. We were lucky with Chiesa and unlucky with Kean. Or maybe the latter just simply suits Fiorentina's style better.
