lets all calm down. Giovinco is/was betterWell i have mentioned before that I would prefer to see him given a chance with our first team squad over the summer break...but that looks highly unlikely. So..if its a choice of another season in serie B, or a season in Serie A...its obviously better for his development playing consistently in serie A...
Not so much the idea of co-ownership, but the general attitude of what you are you are referring to, mr Roo...in england, teenagers are often blooded much sooner than in italy, and if you are good enough, you are old enough...the youth team is something i have taken a greater interest in this last season. Only marchisio and de ceglie have come through to be of any use, and they are hardly world beaters...at very best; squad players. Things have been changing...with some well thought of recruits coming in this year, and more over the summer coming i assume...the seeds we sew now wont grow for a year or two, but of what we presently have in the 17-21 department, surely there are some players better than traore, motta, grygera, martinez playing as a LM...libertazzi for example, in england, may well have got a chance by now...rather than instead, SIGN TONI...
Exactly Lo Pan. Italy has an obessession with experience that borders on irrational. I mean, Luca Toni has done better than Amauri to be fair, but we are also paying him 3.5 million euros a year for a finished player. What was stopping us from calling Libertazzi and playing him instead? Why waste time, money and chances on a 70 year old when we can give a youngster that seems talented, at least more than Toni is now? Well, it's experience that Toni has over Libertazzi, and what Motta has over Sorensen. Experience over quality.

Just like Sorensen has been the "understudy" for the RB position, no reason why Pasquato couldn't be for the LM position under Pepe or up front.
Instead of playing Marchisio out of position we could have tried Pasquato in that role to give Pepe a break, so Marchisio could focus on his CM role. Instead of buying Luca Toni, we should have used our own guy instead.
And no, he should not fucking go to Cagliari in a co-ownership deal. Are you serious?
