The agent of Juventus full-back Cristian Molinaro says there has been an offer from Napoli, but his client would like to stay in Turin.

Molinaro has made just three starting appearances for Juventus in Serie A this season and is no longer considered a first team regular.

Napoli have been monitoring his situation for some time now and feel Juventus would be prepared to part with the 26-year-old.

Speaking to Tutto Mercato Web, Molinaro's agent, Pasquale Gallo said: “I am forced in spite of myself to confirm what has already been said many times after which I will no longer comment.

“Obviously the desire of my client is to continue the project embraced a couple of months ago and extend his current deal with Juventus. “I cannot deny that there has been an offer from Napoli, but the player intends to stay with Juventus,” Gallo concluded.

Molinaro has also attracted interested from Roma where Claudio Ranieri, his former mentor, is in charge.
