Molinaro has confessed to Juventus Channel, "I have a great desire to play for the Azzurri".

"I always had two dreams - to play in a big club and enter the National team. With Juventus I have realised the first, having the opportunity to play at high levels, now its time for the second. Italy-France? The boys gave us an immense joy. They started very determined, certainly more than the French. This was their weapon, then fortunately the Netherlands has done its duty.

Molinaro has Italy dream
Thursday 19 June, 2008

Cristian Molinaro was one of the revelations of Juventus’ successful return to Serie A and his next target is an Azzurri shirt.

The unassuming stopper excelled after returning from a loan spell at Siena and was a rock at the heart of the Old Lady’s defence.

Now Molinaro has set his heart on wearing the Italy shirt as they look to defend their world title in 2010.

“I have always had two football dreams – to play for a great club and to wear the Azzurri shirt,” he told the Juventus Channel.

“Thanks to Juventus, I have achieved the first and have been able to express myself at the highest level, but now I am looking for the second objective.

“What did I think of Italy-France? The lads gave us all an immense joy,” he grinned.

“They did well to impose their game and started with great determination, surely more than the French.

“This motivation is the secret weapon, but we were fortunate that Holland did their bit.”

I love it how he's so inept that he couldn't judge the bounce of the ball, so it hit him in the shin.

Terrible disgrace of a professional footballer.

How well you juggle a ball doesn't show how good of a football player you are. I can't juggle for shit, never could, probably never will but I'm not that bad of a player *brushes his shoulder*

:p
