Don't remind me. I remember couple of members saying that Balza's departure doesn't make any diff because he isn't special.

He's 10x the player Molinaro is.
The day we sold him, I made a big drama out of it, Dominic came to me with "Molinaro is more gifted than him blah blah", it was our dumbest mistake ever! And I guess we made a profit of 2 Million Euros at most, what a clever deal :faq1:

Balzaretti did great since the time he wore that Juve jersey. He played with heart, he was a good crosser, great defender, a true professional, he even had a sexy face :D
why would any freak sell a player like that?? I understand if you bring a world class player instead of him, but who you brought dammit?? They still owe us explanation for his sale. If I am not mistaken he can play on both flanks as well.. Oh God! I hate our board with passion..

How was his performance? I am asking this question to objective members btw.
Really bad

Btw, did you guys see Molinaro's reaction when Iaquinta was fighting for the ball with two Empoli players ?
:lol2:

Iaquinta has the ball on the line, close to the corner flag and he's trying to keep the ball with two Empoli players trying to take it away from him. They're doing that for some 10 sec and when Iaquinta finally managed to put the ball through both the defenders and make a pass to the man behind we see the man behind only standing there watching what's happening and not even trying to get tha ball.

Molinaro was only standing there for 10-15 sec and watching what's happening. It was like he was watching a movie or something.
I can't describe it with words, you gotta see it

And then the pass he made soon after the penalty. Priceless :lol2:

And when Del Piero and Nedved were in the corner trying to free the ball from the defenders and they finally manage that just to reach Molinaro he slides for no reason and gives the ball away? That happened just after Boumsong's "i don't know how to describe it" moment.

the least that we could do with him right now is bench him. At least in the beginning of the season he was defending well, now hes just plain awful. It seems like hes been constantly overwhelmed by the occasion.

IMO he is slightly better than Molinaro.
In terms of attack he surley can work better as he has very good crossing.
In fact if Balza was still with us he would have a good number of assists this year.
But in terms of defence i don't think that he is an improvement over Molinaro.
OK Balza is a decent attacking left back, who plays with passion but there is no way we could compete in Europe with him in the first XI

so this is why we sold him and got a new player who is worse than him :p
